Finally! Smiles caught on camera!

I have been trying to catch one of Treston's new smiles on camera for a week!  Well, here they are, aren't they cute!  His smiles are almost always open mouth and huge!  You can see the love in his eyes.  What a blessing he is!

BYU basketball and Colorguard adventures

Last night, Joshua participated in the colorguard ceremony for the BYU versus Utah basketball game.  He did a great job and looked very serious (from what I could tell from the very top of the marriott center).  I got this great picture with my fantastic zoom lens (okay, so its a little fuzzy, he is the one holding the blue flag).  I am so proud of him for being willing to serve his country and when he wears his uniform, I am reminded of what a great heart he has and love for America.   I am constantly amazed when we go out in public and people shake his hand, thank him, ask him questions and sometimes even hug him!  Americans really are grateful for the men and women that make our freedom possible.  I am especially grateful for those men and women that are overseas fighting and for their families that are left home.

The basketball game was great!!  BYU won!!!!!!!!!  Joshua and I took Treston and left the other kiddos with a babysitter.  Treston slept through most of the game thanks to some really great earplugs (thank you Dustin!).  Our seats were way up high in the nosebleeds, but after half time, we joined Dustin down near the bottom.  We couldn't believe how much more fun the game was down there!!  The arena was so loud that my ears hurt for a couple hours after the game!  Now that is fun!

Treston is a month old!

He is growing so fast!  We just love having him in our family!  He has such a sweet spirit.  He is a great baby and does everything he is supposed to.  He has even started smiling (of course he wouldn't do it on cue for a picture!)

This is his really mad face!

Time for nap!  Church was exhausting!

Presidents Day at the museum

President's Day, we all took a trip to the local museum.  I LOVE seeing all the animals up close and personal.  And of course the kids enjoy it too!

This is Joshua amusing the children!

Happy Birthday Adalyn!!

Well, Addy turned seven!  We had a Pinkalicious birthday party with Grandma, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ron.  Uncle Garrett and (soon to be) Aunt Brittany stopped by also.  Adalyn received lots of fun presents and had a really great cookie cake that her Grandma made her (recipe to follow).  Her Uncle Dustin and Aunt Cara also bought her flowers and 24 cupcakes and surprised her at her school.  She wore a brand new pink outfit to school that her Grandma and Grandpa bought her, with new pink shoes from Mom and Dad.  One of her favorite gifts was ten dollars and a singing birthday card from her Nana and Papa.

We just can't believe that our first born is seven!  My how time flies!  She has been such a joy to us!  She is our child that is full of life!  She finds fun in everything!  She is animated and playful and silly and creative.  She loves to make and do everything!  She loves to collect things.  She is a fantastic problem solver and unlike her Mom and Dad, she is great at Math.   She loves to pose for pictures and act in videos.  She loves to make friends and is good at taking charge and telling them what to do!  (especially her brothers!)  She is a great helper with her brothers and is convinced that she will be much happier grown up and married, than being a little girl.  She is so fun to be around, we are glad that she belongs to us!

A video of Treston

Here are two videos of Treston.

Little Treston!

Oops, too close!
He is such a sling baby!  I put him in it and he is out!
I love Caleb's face in this picture!  He wants to hold Treston all the time.  He is really into the big brother thing.

This is the first picture of Treston sucking his thumb.  After this, he can't get enough.  He will pull out the pacifier and try to get his thumb in!  The only problem is that he can't keep his thumb out of his fist-so frustrating!
Ethan loves to just look at Treston.  He has decided that it is too much trouble to wash his hands in order to hold him.

Home Sweet Home!

Time to get dressed!
All ready to go!
Joshua is the most ready to get out of the hospital!
All buckled in
The nurse asked me if this was my first baby because I took so many pictures...I replied "you would think!"
He is asleep before the car starts to move.
Here is your new home.
It feels good to get home!  That good feeling lasted about ten minutes.  Then the kids started to go crazy.  I wanted to know if it was too late to go back to the hospital!
Proud big sister!
Our little family!!!  Okay, not so little- our growing family!

The before picture

Here is the before picture...about 11:30 p.m. on the night before labor.  Now, it is time for me to pack my bag!  And try to get a little sleep...yah right!

Our baby has arrived!

This is me in labor...it just hasn't gotten painful YET!

Treston Jacks Sinclair was born on Thursday, January 29, 2009.  He was born at 1:44 pm and weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 inches long.  Delivery went really fast.  I pushed twice and he was here!

We just could not be happier that he is here and safe!  What a blessing that things went so well and our family has grown by one more sweet spirit!

Christmas Day

My family has been asking and asking to see how huge I am...so here you go.  This is Joshua and I on Christmas Day.

Where do I go????

Okay, I need help!  I have to decide what hospital to deliver at!  With less than 3 weeks to go, I have two choices:  Utah Valley Medical or Mountain View Hospital in Payson.

Things that are important to me:

Cleanliness
Quality of the food (I know, it shouldn't matter but I really like food)
Flexibility of the staff ( I make some very picky requests and don't like routine procedures)

So, I know that there are many of you that delivered at these hospitals, leave comments and tell me your experiences and recommendations!!  Thanks!!!!
