The before picture

Here is the before picture...about 11:30 p.m. on the night before labor.  Now, it is time for me to pack my bag!  And try to get a little sleep...yah right!

Our baby has arrived!

This is me in labor...it just hasn't gotten painful YET!

Treston Jacks Sinclair was born on Thursday, January 29, 2009.  He was born at 1:44 pm and weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 inches long.  Delivery went really fast.  I pushed twice and he was here!

We just could not be happier that he is here and safe!  What a blessing that things went so well and our family has grown by one more sweet spirit!

Christmas Day

My family has been asking and asking to see how huge I am...so here you go.  This is Joshua and I on Christmas Day.

Where do I go????

Okay, I need help!  I have to decide what hospital to deliver at!  With less than 3 weeks to go, I have two choices:  Utah Valley Medical or Mountain View Hospital in Payson.

Things that are important to me:

Cleanliness
Quality of the food (I know, it shouldn't matter but I really like food)
Flexibility of the staff ( I make some very picky requests and don't like routine procedures)

So, I know that there are many of you that delivered at these hospitals, leave comments and tell me your experiences and recommendations!!  Thanks!!!!

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch last Saturday!  We went with our fun cousin, Spencer and his cousins.  The weather was perfect!  We had a great time!  We went on the hayride, raced to find the perfect pumpkins, and even bought famous chocolate covered blueberries from the old fashioned store.

Caleb was very nervous when the tractor dropped us off at the pumpkin patch.  He kept asking if it was going to come back and pick us up.  We assured him that it was, but he didn't believe it till he saw it himself.  He was very relieved to climb back on with his pumpkin for the ride back to the red barn.

New Scooter helmets

The boys received scooters for their birthdays from their Nana and Papa. They love them and ride them all the time. Their Grandpa insisted that they have the right kind of helmets to keep them safe while riding. Thank you Grandpa and Nana and Papa!

Sailing!

(Click on the collage to make it larger)

Well, we bought a sailboat! We thought it would be fun for the kids! Okay, not really. Wouldn't that be nice! Joshua's boss, Kevin, took us out sailing a couple of weeks ago. It was a friday afternoon and the weather was perfectly warm. There wasn't much of a breeze when we began. We had never been sailing before, so sitting in the middle of the lake and not moving, was still fun enough for us. Kevin kept insisting that it was better when there was wind : ) Then, the wind picked up! It really was incredible! Such an unusual feeling, gliding through the water with no motor. It was quite an experience to see the sails fill with wind pull us gently across the lake. We had a great afternoon!

Adalyn has turned out to be quite the sailor. She was all over the boat. She absolutely loved it. Her and Ethan were up at the front the entire time. I am very surprised that they didn't fall right out and into the lake! Adalyn begged to come back the next day and do it again.

Meet GiGi

Well, we got a kitten. Adalyn is the biggest animal lover I have ever seen, so we got it for her. Of course, the kitten belongs to everyone in the family. The kids fight over who gets to hold her. We have started setting timers and limits so that everyone gets a turn to smother the kitty. She has a great personality. She lets the kids hold her for ten hours a day.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Ethan turned 5 last month. He wanted a Star Wars birthday party. He invited a few friends and his cousin Spencer. All the kids loved their Darth Vador masks and blow up lightsabers.

I cannot believe that Ethan is five already! He is the sweetheart of the family. He is always looking out for everyone else. I have a favorite saying that I use frequently; "Ethan saves the day!" He is sensitive, kind, loves to quote movies and show off his big muscles. He loves Karate class, gymnastics, Primary, scripture movies, playing outside and wrestling.

Happy Birthday Caleb

Caleb's birthday was last month. He turned 3! He is still talking about his Elmo cupcakes that he picked out. His favorite present that he received was a rug that looks like roads. His Dad and Ethan picked it out. He drives all of his cars across the rug and always wants it spread across his bedroom floor. He is also very particular about other kids sitting around the edge of the rug!

Caleb is the sweetest three year old! He is so much fun and we enjoy every day with him. He is full of life and always looking for an adventure! He is very athletic, social, full of personality and loves playing with cars and trucks.
