Baptism week
We will miss you Uncle Ron
The week of Adalyn's baptism my Uncle Ron (my Dad's only brother) was kind enough to spend two hours with us, taking Adalyn's pictures in her baptism dress. He took 180 pictures and they turned out so beautiful. We had a great time! He took the picture in the previous post of her with the black background. A week later, he was killed in a tragic accident in Arizona while returning home from my great uncle's funeral. He was changing the tire of my other uncle's car and a driver fell asleep on the freeway and went off the road and hit my Uncle Ron. He died at the scene. It is so sad and tragic. We will miss him dearly. He was a wonderful man. ALWAYS giving and serving and doing things for others. I will treasure this picture forever. Thank you Uncle Ron.

Adalyn is eight!
Well, Adalyn turned eight this month and she has grown into a little lady! I am amazed at how much she has grown up this last year! She is still full of life and loves to have fun! She is the little mommy at our house and the boys follow her around everywhere and want to do everthing she does. She is into everything girly: fashion design, hair, the color pink, music, art, baby dolls, lace, dressing up, talking on the phone, cooking, sewing, jump rope, dancing, long skirts, giggling, twilight, boys, singing and the list goes on! She is such a joy in our family and has so much love to give. She is such a sweet heart and we just adore her!

Snow day!
We have had several good snow days this winter. The kids have had a great time building snow houses with their kid size snow shovels that Santa brought. Treston enjoys standing at the door watching the kids. He has only had one chance to play in the snow, and he learned really quickly how important gloves are- He kept pulling his gloves off repeatedly and Mom would quickly replace them. He did catch on to what they were for, and eventually started to bring them to me when they would fall off.
10 Months
Here is our little Treston at 10 months. He walks and babbles, is full of personality and he grins every time he sees the camera! He is so happy all the time (with the exception of getting dressed-cries every time). He is such a joy to have in our family. He is so easy to love and makes us all smile!

Christmas Morning (a little early)
Christmas program at school
The kids had a Christmas program at school.
They were so excited about it. They did a great job singing! Right after the program we took them home for our family Christmas eve before we left for Denver. We made sugar cookies, watched the Polar Express and had a fantastic Christmas Eve dinner.

Halloween
Our first Halloween Party was a carnival at the Retirement Home that my Great Aunt Elma lives in. She is 100 years old! We promised her we would take her to the Carnival and we had a blast. This scene was so cute! Caleb climbed up on the couch next to Aunt Elma and snuggled right up to her. They are looking through his loot together. So cute! She just adores him. She takes his little face in her hands and they both get a huge smile.
The kids had a Halloween parade at school. FORTUNATELY for us, there was four different days we got to wear costumes!!! Carnivals, school, ward party and Halloween night! Ethan was a skeleton, Caleb was a lion (Can I just say he was ADORABLE), Treston was a monkey and smiled for everyone!
