Today, I am going to share am unusual talent (kind of) that one of my kids has. I want any of you that have kids with unusual or weird talents or gifts, to comment and share with me! This could be fun to see what everyone comes up with.
Adalyn started walking at 8 1/2 months. Like most children, she immediately took a liking to trying on other people's shoes, in all sizes. Now, here is the unusual talent: She never once has put shoes on the wrong feet. We even tried to trick her many times, by placing the shoes next to each other and switching them, so they are on the wrong side. She immediately switched them back with her little hands and put them on. She did this as a baby, before she could even talk!
Now, please leave a comment sharing your kids' unusual talents!

Gavin can whistle. Songs too. he's only 4, i think that is talented :)
My girls (Samantha & Ashlynn) could apply lipstick perfectly from 18 months on. Jax is 19 months and she is pretty good also. Sam had to have "lippie" on every day, Ashlynn called it "prettie' and so does Jax. Coleman hit a baseball being pitched to him at 2.
Unusual talents?? hmmmm is whining all the time a talent? Cuz ALL of mine are REALLY good at that LOL!! Your blog is so cute! I love all the family picture collages:)
That is seriously amazing, I mean I still put my shoes on the wrong feet ;-) as for talents, um...by baby is a really good spitter, I mean he could sit and blow raspberries all day ;-) lol. J/K I mean he's amazingly talented at everything right?
Ok so would a child that speaks and it sounds like really bad words be an unusual talent? No ok well how about this! When Caden was in my belly, I was unloading boxes from a move. I had a bunch of glass cups on the counter and while I reached up to put them away, Caden kicked really hard and knocked one of the glasses over! I said he was going to be a soccer player, and well he has not disappointed us yet! He actually scored a goal helping in their win today! Cool huh!?
Hyrum has hidden things in cracks since he was a baby and now he has added himself to the cracks with the toys or whatever. The best part about this unusual thing he does, it that when I was pregnant with him I would do the same thing and Kyle would catch me and ask me what I was doing. I didn't even realize I was doing it!
When Joshua was in my tummy I would suction a cup to my tummy and watch him kick it off. Tiffany can boss even the bossy kids - and they will listen and do what she says.
um...my kids can drive me nuts in 5 seconds flat. ;-)
Tara Norris! I can't believe you found me. You are the second HRHS alum that found me this week. Chrissy(Wall) Hancey found me on Facebook.com
Anyway, your family is beautiful. Your little girl looks just like you. She is a doll! Wow we have some catching up to do.
Do you have a facebook account?
Michael can do yoga while reading- we're talking full Lotus position. He doesn't even realize he is doing it until we call his attention to it.
Christi has used BIG words since 18 months old but more cool then that is she is color coordinated. Since she dresses herself I have noticed that she rarely if ever has a crazy color combination going on.
The other two have yet to show their talents- James= stong silent type & William= jabbermouth already
Lathen has the most amazing memory. He'll start recalling something and when I don't remember he'll start giving me the details around the story, like what was in the room or something crazy like that. For instance he was telling me something and then he said "remember when the white fish died in Ogden, UT" I couldn't even believe he remember that! We often ask him where his story is taking place (since all the moves you know) and he always knows!
Oh he also lines cars up in a perfectly straight line, all facing the same direction. He's done this since he was really young. You could come by and flip on around or bump it out of line when he wasn't looking and he would noticed immediately and fix it!
