On our way home from Denver, the Buffalo were right by the side of the freeway. Of course we had to stop. I was amazed at how close they were to the fence. I am not sure the kids really appreciated how cool it really was. I loved it!

We have a small area on the way to my parents house that has, llama, sheep, goats, horses, cows (one scottish cow), a camel, and buffalo within a blocks distance of each other... talk about a ZOO! I don't think my kids fully appreciate it either and I think that they think I'm a little nuts with how cool I think it is lol.
I don't think most kids get it... but buffalo are way cool, esp up close (when you can be safe... like behind a fence!) :)
